The way things USED to be. I studied illustration at Chouinard and somehow achieved a small measure of success in the field, until I became obsessed with creating kinetic art (see KINETICS). As the world changed and it became impossible for me to survive solely as an editorial illustrator, I segued into production and design, finding that cleanliness to be a good counterpoint to hot and sweaty fine art. In looking at many of the images in the PRINT category you will find bits of illustrative storytelling informing the design. As with other pages buried on this site (see CORE), I show this work because, for good or ill, it shows thought process and, graphically, a love of worked surfaces.
